The Local Lingo Model

Local Lingo is a simple, community-centered program designed to help people practice real-life conversations in their own language and context. Each resource builds on the last, moving from guided learning to confident, everyday use.

Participants start with core conversation tools, then practice through themed modules that reflect common neighborhood interactions. These materials are used in small groups, classes, or one-on-one settings, making the program flexible and easy to adapt for different communities.

The goal is practical communication, not perfection—helping people build confidence, connection, and belonging through language they can use right away.
