Three Steps to Launch
Everything you need to move from idea to your first Local Lingo class.
1. Get the curriculum
Start with ready-to-use curriculum designed to make planning and teaching simple.
Student Workbooks and Teacher Guides include practical lessons, conversation activities, cultural learning, and step-by-step support to help your team create an engaging learning experience.
Ordering your materials first gives your team time to become familiar with the curriculum and ensures everything is ready when your students arrive.

2. Simple teacher training

Join a live online training designed to help your team feel prepared and confident before class begins.
During the session, volunteers will walk through the Local Lingo curriculum, learn how to facilitate conversation, and get practical guidance for creating a welcoming classroom environment.
Completing the training before launch gives your team a chance to ask questions, understand how the lessons work, and feel ready to lead students well from the very first class.
3. Launch your class
Spread the word in your church and community, invite participants, and choose a start date that works for your volunteer team. Use our ready-made promotional materials to share the opportunity widely.
Once your group gathers, welcome them warmly, introduce the lesson structure, and enjoy helping students practice English, make friends, and experience the love of Christ through your hospitality.
